Illustrated front and back cover of Billboard Magazine, featuring the the first ever Firefly Music Festival lineup.
Challenge:
Create a fully illustrated front and back cover for Billboard Magazine. The back cover must feature the festival lineup.
Solution:
The festival grounds for Firefly are named “The Woodlands” for a reason. For this illustration, I wanted to illustrate the summertime forest surrounding the festival with bright green trees and an airy sky. The simple design on the back cover focuses on the bands and features a hand drawn flourished border.
